What is Real Local Tools

Real Local Tools is a collection of free online utilities for developers, designers and everyday work — formatters, encoders, generators, calculators and image tools. Every single tool runs entirely in your browser.

Why "local"?

Most online tools send your input to a server to be processed. We think that is unnecessary and bad for privacy. Here, the code comes to your data instead of the other way around: once a page has loaded, you could disconnect from the internet and every tool would keep working.

Your text, files and images never leave your device — which also makes the tools fast, with no network round-trips.

How it is built

The site is 100% static: HTML, CSS and JavaScript generated ahead of time and served from a CDN. There is no application server, no database and no user accounts. The source code is public on GitHub.

Languages

The site is available in English, 中文, Español and 日本語. If a translation looks off, we would love to hear about it.
